Hohenems plans Coordination Unit for Integration and Welcome Committee

Early November the city of Hohenems (in the federal province Vorarlberg) presented the results of a project on integration. In the coming month a “Welcome committee” will be installed, which should assist and give advice to new immigrants. Another 25 measures to facilitate integration in the city are planned. They will be coordinated by the newly created coordination unit for integration projects, which well be set up within the municipal administration, which will take up work in 2011.
