Integration guideline for Lower Austria

In July 2008, the federal province of Lower Austria presented its new integration guideline. The guideline was developed by approximately 600 different experts and actors like representatives of public authorities, university, NGOs as well as several migrant organisations. The guideline "Leitbildentwicklung zur Integration von MigrantInnen in Niederösterreich - Leitbild und Maßnahmen" tries to effect a participative process of opinion formation of native and immigrated Lower Austrians. Strategic measures as well as recommendations for concrete measures in various areas like education, employment, housing, health and social services are being proposed.
