On 28 June 2011 the Government Plenipotentiary for Equal Treatment launched the project Equal Treatment as a Standard for Good Governance. The project aims to strengthen the capabilities of the public administration in the scope of policy for equal treatment and counteracting discrimination, especially on grounds of gender, race and ethnic origin, nationality, religion and denomination or political opinions, age, sexual orientation, marital or family status. The project consists of the performance of the following actions:
- Appointment of 45 Coordinators for Equal Treatment;
- Research, educational and promotional activities
- Development of the Governmental Action Plan for Equal Treatment within the structures of central and local administration.

Internet portal on equality and tolerance has been cerated within this project.
