According to a TV report a Muslim girl has been advised by the school headmaster not to wear a headscarf in school, so that other kids would not make fun of her. This lead to her intimidation and her possible drop-out. The Ministry of Education made clear that there is no headscarf or any other prohibition concerning religious symbols in schools. According to official information forwarded by the Ministry of Education to the RAXEN NFP, HLHR-KEMO upon request, the student returned to class and attends the school regularly, wearing her headscarf.
