A NPD member stirred up hatred against Jews and Turks at a NPD demonstration
Udo Pastörs, the leader of the parliamentary group of the NPD in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, made derogatory remarks about Jews and migrants of Turkish origin at an Ash Wednesday NPD demonstration in Saarbrücken in February 2009. He spoke, inter alia, of the “financial buildings of this Jewish republic” and in conjunction with citizens of Turkish origin used the term “seed canons” (Samenkanonen). Pastörs was convicted of incitement of the people by the regional court Saarbrücken.
