A vandalism of a Catholic cemetery graveyard occurred in Candia (Crete). Grave tombs and crosses were desecrated and broken. The Catholic Diocese of Syros-Thira-Crete issued a protest declaration against the vandalisms, protesting among other against the indifference of Greek authorities, the lack of protection and any kind of compensation or assistance measure.
