A young immigrant from Sudan has been allegedly beaten to death by three police officers in the centre of Athens (Omonia). Eyewitnesses report that they asked repeatedly the policemen to stop the deadly violence. Only after six days did the victim’s relatives manage to find out that the young man was deceased in the hospital the same day that the beating took place, while his corps had been received by the same police officers.
