Xenophobic Gunmen
On July 22nd, 2011, a xenophobic gunman killed one person of Romanian origin and insured a woman, also of Romanian origin, and her son in Traun, Upper Austria. Initially, the incident was presented in the media as a gun rampage because of a neighbourhood dispute. However, the man wrote dozens of letters with xenophobic and racist content during his imprisonment declaring his hostility against foreigners and murder plans against migrants.
