Foiled terrorist attack
In November 2012 the Internal Security Agency detained a man, who planned to carry out a terrorist attack at the Parliament building, while the most important persons in the country were present there. A significant amount of explosives was found at the man’s apartment. The person suspected of preparing an attack on the State authorities was guided by nationalistic, xenophobic and anti-Semitic motives. He described the members of the authorities as “aliens” (meaning not "real Poles") – said a representative of the Internal Security Agency at the press conference.
