8 out of 10 people fail to report racism in Ireland
According to a report launch by Nasc - an immigrant suppot organisation, more than eight out of 10 people who experienced racism in Cork did not report it to the Irish police.
The study showed that almost half (45%) of respondents had experienced discrimination in at least one area of everyday life, and that 38.5% of respondents had experienced discrimination while engaging with a service provider — housing and employment being key areas where migrants in Cork believed they were heavily discriminated against.
