According to the Austrian Federation of Trade Unions (Österreichischer Gewerkschaftsbund) the main target groups of the Austrian unions are women, retirees, adolescents, disabled persons, workers in the health sector and atypical workers. There are no sub-organisations on ethnic or authochtonous minorities. Only the Union of Private Sector Employees, Graphical Workers and Journalists (Gewerkschaft der Privatangestellten) has established the group work@migration, a platform supporting and promoting the (labour) rights of migrants.
