Here are some examples of the policy aims of the ‘National Action Plan Against Poverty’ that relate to social cohesion outlined in chapter 1: · Policy task: ensure that the framework is kept up to date and relevant in order to ensure a fair and inclusive society with equal opportunity. (Chapter 1.8.6) · Policy task: development of a more inclusive Information Society in Ireland targeting in particular the groups most at risk of exclusion; women on home duties, retired people, tradesmen/skilled workers, workers in agriculture, forestry or fishing, and the unemployed.
