Qualitative Info

Training of the police involves:
-    training in human rights, including non-discrimination,
-    training in policing a multicultural society.
Some of the trainings are conducted in cooperation with external experts and representatives of NGOs. The Human Rights Ombudsman is also involved in the training process through lectures and workshops on human rights violations, the significance of protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in policing, etc.
