Under the Disciplinary Regulations of the Bulgarian Football Union among the disciplinary violations are “the use of bold, abusive or insulting language or gestures” and “manifestations of discrimination and racsm”. The football club, which allows racist incidents, is imposed a fine of 10,000 levs (about 5,000 euro). In November 2011, the Bulgarian Football Union was fined by 40,000 euro by UEFA’s Disciplinary Commission for racist chants of Bulgarian fans against English nationals at a Bulgaria – England Euro2012 Championship qualification. |
