Short Answer |
Only the provision of housing for the Roma |
Qualitative Info |
The only major project that can be reported is the implementation of the Council of Ministers’ decision of 2000 to house all Cypriot Roma in the old Turkish quarter of Limassol, and to set up specially designated Roma settlements. Although the project has its weaknesses, especially as regards the remote location of the settlements, it has effectively avoided Roma homelessness.
